Forsvarets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse (FMI) ønsker, at indgå en rammeaftale med en Leverandør om ajourføring søkort. Aftalen omhandler ajourføring af papirsøkort leveret af FMI. Forsvarets Materieltjeneste (FMT) har fornyligt anskaffet en opgradering til den software, som benyttes på Søværnets skibe til navigation. Opgraderingen bringer Søværnets nuværende ECDIS-system (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) op på den nye softwareversion - ECPINS-W v.6.0. For at kunne udnytte de nye software features, agter FMT at forny den hardware, som navigationssoftwaren afvikles på.
