Purchase of a multiphoton microscope instrument package (Aarhus Universitet)
With the multiphoton microscope with galvo scanning system (Item A), we will perform calcium imaging of retinal neurons and also perform two photon targeted patch-clamp recordings of fluorescently-labelled retinal neurons. In order to perform such experiments, the multiphoton microscope must allow simultaneous two-photon imaging and infrared (around 750 nm) camera imaging.
