The purpose of the tendered service is to by photogrammetric means to revise digital map data at appointed change marker sites according to specification 6.0.1 in 4 of the 5 regions in Denmark in 2023.The contract can be expanded to cover more regions in the years 2024-2026. Amount: approx. 30,000 km2 in 2023.The extimated value covers all four possible years.

In 2016, SDFIs made a pilot project to determine how ice free parts of Greenland could be mapped and how an ortho photo could be made available. In 2020 SDFI had a tender to cover large parts of Greenland with ortho photo. This project is a follow up from 2020 to cover ice free areas of Greenland which do not yet have ortho photos. This is the follow up to the 2020 project.

Summer Ortho Photo 2022 (SOP2022) is a joined procurement between several Danish governmental institutions lead by SDFE. Full land coverage of digital summer ortho photo is tendered, divided into three lots. Acquiring of aerial images and AT-production is a part of the production, along with the production of ortho photos. SOP2022 is an open procurement and a Supplier cannot be awarded more than two lots of the three lots, though it is a requirement that suppliers bid for all three lots.

The job will be split into five lots (sub-agreements) of approximate same size. Each Lot is spit into 10 or 11 photo acquisition blocks.

Agency for Data Supply and Efficiency is also publishing a free spring ortho photo (before foliation), but SOP2016 is not free data and is licensed from the Producer.
