A) DONG Energy has developed a low temperature gasification process suitable for the gasification of straw or other biomass. The process has been proven at demonstration plant scale (6 MJ/s) at DONG Energy's power plant Asnæs#2. Various tests have been executed on the plant since first commissioning in 2011. The technology owned by one of DONG Energy subsidiaries is almost ready for commercial operation and DONG Energy intends to install the first unit at its Asnæs#2 power plant in Kalundborg, Denmark. …
