Som et led i CTR’s strategi om at udfase brugen af fossile brændsler, skal to af i alt fire stk. eksisterende oliekedler på Frederiksberg Varmecentral (FVC) udskiftes med to elkedler. Projektet omfatter desuden etablering af en varmeakkumuleringstank (VAK) samt et tilhørende højspændingsanlæg, som begge etableres af andre entrepriser. A) DONG Energy has developed a low temperature gasification process suitable for the gasification of straw or other biomass. The process has been proven at demonstration plant scale (6 MJ/s) at DONG Energy's power plant Asnæs#2. Various tests have been executed on the plant since first commissioning in 2011.
