Formidling og Registrering af Akvatiske Invasive Arter (FRAIA) (Miljøstyrelsen)
I 2018-2019 fik Miljøstyrelsen udført et pilotprojekt, hvis formål var at undersøge om miljø-DNA (eDNA) kunne anvendes som en del af overvågningen, og den videre forvaltning af invasive arter i Danmark. Som en del af projektet, blev gymnasieklasser inddraget til at overvåge marine hjemmehørende og ikkehjemmehørende arter ved hjælp af eDNA, hvilket blev indsamlet via vandprøver fra områder fordelt i hele landet.
