Based on DRS’ consumption of plastic sacks in the previous year, DRS estimates that it will need to order an indicative amount of 700 000 large plastic sacks and an indicative amount of 180 000 small plastic sacks in each individual year of the contract term.
In the first year of the contract term, DRS guarantees to place orders for a minimum of 700 000 large plastic sacks and a minimum of 180 000 small plastic sacks.
In each of the other years following the first year of the contract term, DRS cannot guarantee to place orders corresponding to the orders in the first year of the contract term. However, DRS shall in each of the other years following the first year of the contract term, place orders for a minimum of 630 000 large plastic sacks and a minimum of 162 000 small plastic sacks.
The supplier must therefore accept that DRS can place orders that are either larger or smaller than the estimated annual order volumes.
DRS will inform the supplier of adjustments in relation to the estimated annual order volumes as further regulated in the draft contract.
The plastic sacks must be delivered in two different sizes and are referred to as large plastic sacks and small plastic sacks. Plastic sacks are a collective term for the small plastic sacks and the large plastic sacks. The plastic sacks are used as carriers for the empty deposited beverage packaging when collected by DRS at the customers and transported from the customers to one of DRS’ two sorting plants.
Each plastic sack must have a unique identifier. This unique identifier is scanned by DRS, with a portable scanner or an inline scanner during the handling process. This is done, to connect the identity of the customer to the identity of the plastic sack. The unique identifier must consist of a QR-code, a variable sack number, and check digits, as further specified in the Specification of functional and technical requirements to plastic sacks.
The detailed requirements for the plastic sacks and DRS’s process for handling of the plastic sacks are described in the specification of functional and technical requirements to plastic sacks, inclusive sub appendices.
