Selection of Applicants will be based on an overall assessment of the references, which the Applicants have provided in connection with fulfilment of minimum requirements for suitability (see section 3.2 cf. Instructions to Tenderers).
Applicants with the best and most relevant references in relation to the specific agreement, will be selected. DTU will among other things give weight to the following parameters, when assessing the relevance of the references:
- The number of successful international recruitment tasks performed for the reference. The greater the number of successful international recruitment assignments per reference weights positively
- That the references show that the Applicant has solved international recruitment tasks, which covers a wide range of VIP areas including VIP Leadership and staff positions such as Department Directors, Professors, Associate Professors, Deans, Senior Researchers etc..
In addition, DTU will place emphasis on whether the references show that the Applicant has explicit experience in performing international recruitment tasks for high ranking universities (e.g. WURR - World University Research Ranking) / institutions and / or comparable research companies.

The Applicant/Tenderer must provide as a minimum 3 references on companies and / or institutions for which Applicant/Tenderer has collaborated with and performed comparable tasks.
By comparable tasks is meant continuous international recruiting and search of VIP positions (cf. 1.3 - Instructions to Tenderers) which resulted in a successful employment relationship. By a successful employment relationship is meant that the candidate has remained employed in the position for a minimum of 6 months. Further more, the tasks for the 3 references together must constitute an annual value of at least DKK 700.000. The references must not be more than 3 years old. This means that the start-up of a recruitment task for the reference must be within the last 3 years.
The Applicant/Tenderer should give the following information for each reference:
- Name of reference
- Time for start-up of collaboration. If the collaboration started earlier than 3 years, then it must be documented that recruitment tasks have been performed within the last 3 years and when the first recruitment task was performed for the reference within the last 3 years
- The number of and a description of the international recruitment tasks and comparability, including which job types within the VIP area, (cf. 1.3 - Instructions to Tenderers). A description is not required for each individual recruitment task, but for each of the job types within the VIP area that are representative of the total number of recruitment tasks
- The total value of the recruitment tasks in DKK since the start of the collaboration with the reference within the last 3 years
