This Contract Notice concerns The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) tender for a Framework Agreement, divided into two lots that covers DALO's need for Ringmounts with armored protection including Softmounts (RM — SM V1), and Lightweight Soft Mounts (SM V2). Both including accessories, spare parts, logistic support, operator- and maintainer training and documentation. An initial purchase of 174 protected units is expected, in all a purchase of 574 units is expected, however DALO is not obliged to buy any minimum quantity during the lifetime of the agreement. Lot 2: The SM V2 is intended to be used on the existing Ring Mount, with a small pivot pin (NATO G3 cone), of an unprotected tactical vehicles wherefore weight is an issue. The SM V2 is to support weapons such as 40 mm Automatic Grenade Launcher Heckler & Koch (AGL) and 12.7 mm Heavy Machine Gun Browning M2. It should be possible to mount a Fire Control System (FCS). The FCS is used when the AGL is mounted in the SM V2. An initial purchase of 18 units is expected, however DALO is not obliged to buy any minimum quantity during the lifetime of the agreement. Both lots: Both types of Soft Mount are also to be operated off the vehicle using a M3 Tripod. A maximum of 5 candidates will be pre-qualified for each lot. A candidate may apply for prequalification for one or both of the lots. Non-compliance with formal requirements:
DALO reserves the right — but is not obliged — to use remedies equal to the remedies provided for in Section 159(5) of the Danish Act no. 1564 of 15.12.2015 on tender procedures if applications or tenders do not fulfil the formalities of the tender documents.

Candidates are specifically made aware that it may be a condition precedent for signing the contract regarding Lot 1, but not lot 2, that the tenderer has entered into an Industrial Cooperation Contract with the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen). Candidates should also note that the Danish legislation on industrial cooperation has been amended and that — as of 1 July 2014 — new rules on industrial cooperation have entered into force. Pursuant to the new rules, industrial cooperation may be required, in so far as a concrete assessment shows that such cooperation is necessary in order to safe-guard essential Danish security interests. Such an assessment is currently being made in relation to this contract. Prequalified tenderers will be informed of the outcome.
