Contract involving collection, treatment and recycling (in the form of deposition) of hazardous waste from ARC's new incineration plant, Amager Bakke, from ARC's waste burning process
This contract includes collection, treatment and recycling (in the form of deposition) of hazardous waste from ARC's new incineration plant, Amager Bakke.
The hazardous waste includes:
i) flue/exhaust from the gas cleaning process,
ii) fly ash, and
iii) drained gypsum, which are all products from ARC's waste burning process.
ARC has estimated the quantity of hazardous waste per year to be:
i) 2,200 tons of flue/exhaust from the gas cleaning process,
ii) 6,600 tons of fly ash, and
iii) 2,700 tons of drained gypsum.
The quantity above is estimated and, therefore, the quantity per year may be lower or higher.
The contract can only be terminated with effect from 31.12.2019. ARC must give a 6 months' notice, and the supplier must give a 12 months' notice. Otherwise, the contract will continue until terminated by either party.
