E 2004, New Fairway Vordingborg, is a Design and Build tender package including:
— Dredging of around 225 000 m³ sediment;
— Transport and disposal of the sediments;
— Control and measurement of sediment spill;
— Sounding of the dredging areas;
— Delivery and installation of aids to navigation.
The fairway subsoil consists primarily of gyttja. The sediment is expected to be transported around 11 nautical miles (20,4 km) from the dredging site. Precautions will have to be taken to avoid the spreading of sediments into the adjacent Natura 2000 area.

— Transport and disposal of the sediments;

— Control and measurement of sediment spill;

— Sounding of the dredging areas;

— Delivery and installation of aids to navigation.

The fairway subsoil is expected to consist primarily of glacial material with boulders. The sediment is expected to be transported around 11 nautical miles (20,4 km) from the dredging site. The method of excavation will have to be chosen to minimize spill. Precautions will have to be taken to avoid the spreading of sediments into the adjacent Natura 2000 area.

The applicant shall submit a short description of the firm and organisation of the applicant.

If the applicant is a group of suppliers (e.g. a consortium or joint venture) each member shall submit the information and documents requested.

Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:

Applicants, and if the applicant is a group of suppliers (e.g. a consortium or joint venture) the applying group, shall document that the applicant at the time of applying for pre-qualification, is able to present a contractor performance guarantee (ref ABT93 § 6) of 4 500 000 DKK. Documentation must be given in form of a declaration from a bank or guarantor. It is accepted that the declaration is dated between the date of publication of this Notice and the time limit for receipt of requests to participate (ref. section IV.3.4). Applicants are encouraged to use the standard form regarding ‘Contractor Performance Guarantee', which can be downloaded at at www.banedanmark.dk/ femern-udbud and www.banedanmark.dk/ fehmarn-tender, thereby ensuring that the declaration fulfils all demands.

Alternately applicants must ensure, that the presented declaration contains the same information as the standard form. A statement about the guarantor's general possibility to issue guarantees on behalf of the applicant is not sufficient and a declaration without a statement from the issuing bank or guarantor regarding the applicant's economical status is also not sufficient.

Furthermore a declaration which does not contain the amount of the guarantee is not sufficient.

Teknisk og faglig kompetence:

The applicant shall document from maximum 5 references within similar and most relevant experiences, within the past 5 years (within this period both contracts won but not commenced, completed contracts and contracts in progress are of interest). The references must show:

— dredging in waters sensitive to sediment spillage;

— installation of Aids to Navigation (buoys and beacons);

— special Order Hydrographic Survey;

— a production rate of about 5000 m³/day;

— delivery and installation of aids to navigation;

— design of similar projects.

If the applicant has fulfilled similar activities as part of a consortium, or the applicant has acted as sub-supplier on similar contracts, the exact contribution by the applicant must be highlighted.

The documentation shall include information of contract price, time of performing, name of the customer and if possible a contact person at the customer.

If the applicant is a group of suppliers (e.g. a consortium or joint venture) each member shall submit the information and documents requested and submit relevant information showing the capacity as a group.

If the applicant relies on the capacities of the other legal entities (e.g. a parent company), the applicant must provide that the applicant has at his disposal the resources necessary, for instance by providing documentation that the applicant can rely on the capacities of the other legal entities in this respect.

Usage of 3D modeling is a requirement at the Ringsted — Fehmarn Project. The client supplies a model of the bathymetri in 3D and expects ‘as build' documentations as 3D models from the contractor. Further details about file formats, principles for detailing and usage of software are to be discussed and agreed by contract award, while the general requirements concerning 3D modeling is included in the tender documents. During the process, and at agreed intervals, these models should be delivered to the client for control.

Requirements for 3D models are primarily related to generating a well-defined geometry, which must be delivered in agreed CAD formats, based on function and properties of the structure. The application must contain a description of the applicant's design tools and workflows and the approach to 3D modeling of the structures. It is an advantage to include examples from previous projects.

According to Law No. 492 of 12.5.2010 on the enforcement of procurement rules etc. and Law No. 511 of 27.05.2013 the following time limits are applicable in relation to the implementation of the contract.
