TP 40 Bridges and Earth

Tender Package TP40 south section civil works Ishoej to Koege Nord, is a design and build contract that covers the majority of civil works associated with the construction of the new railway line for the South Section of the Copenhagen to Ringsted Rail Line development.
TP 40A earth and construction work stretch from st. 12+300 and ends at st. 22.000.
Bridges and roads on the first part, from Ishoej Stationsvej to Greve Centervej is build under contract TP41, which is planned to finish march 2015 except Greve Centervej witch first finish September 2015. From here TP 40 will have free passage over and under all structures for doing the earthwork.
In this package covers the first 5.7 km earthwork and small fauna passages, and for the last 4.0 Km also bridge structures, as well as roads, fauna passages, retaining walls and embankments. Also a number of roads will have to be either, relocated or reconstructed.
The earthwork on the alignment includes both local earth balances as well as the total earth balance.
To achieve the proposed alignment a combination of structures and engineering solutions will need to be utilised. The key works will include the following components:
— 2 pipe underpass,
— 1 fauna passage,
— 1 fauna passage with pedestrian tunnel,
— 5 pedestrian tunnels,
— 1 pedestrian bridge,
— 1 railway underpasses,
— 9 retaining walls,
— 11 pipes for fauna passages,
— 1 side borrow,
— rail civil works.

In this package covers bridge structures, as well as roads, fauna passages, retaining walls and embankments. Also a number of roads will have to be either, relocated or reconstructed.
The earthwork on the alignment includes both local earth balances as well as the total earth balance. Special attentions to be paid on the area around Mc Donald, Cementvej and
Taastrupvej, due to large intensity of traffic, which could arise some challenges during construction time.
To achieve the proposed alignment a combination of structures and engineering solutions will need to be utilised. The key works will include the following components:
— 4 fauna passages,
— 1 railway underpasses,
— 4 railway overpasses,
— 1 pedestrian bridge,
— 1 valley crossing bridge,
— 2 retaining walls,
— 11 pipes for fauna passages,
— 2 noise screens,
— rail civil works.
TP40 is to be signed September 2013 and to be handover September 2016.

Banedanmark wants to involve and coorperate with the contractor about the design and planning to incorporate the contractors experience. Tender material will comprise 3D model for the contractors design and construction.The new line Copenhagen - Ringsted project intends to invite 4-6 applicants to tender. If there are more than 6 applicants, Banedanmark will undertake prequalification based on referencies from similar assignments. The selection will be based on finansiel capacity, referencies and skills to handle 3D modellering. Contract Conditions, background material, including for example geotechnical reports may be in danish. Contractors technical material must be written in English or Danish. Tenderes must translate themselves. The application can be submitted electronically, on CD/DVD or USB. Tender documents are expected made available about 20.3.2013.

Teknisk og faglig kompetence:

Relevant referencies (bridges, concrete construction, faunapassage and earth works in big scale) not older than 5-8 years must be enclosed.

Usage of 3D modeling is a requirement at the project The New Line Copenhagen-Ringsted. The client supplies deliveries in 3D and expects "as build" documentations as 3D models from the contractor. Further details about file formats, principals for detailing and usage of software are to be discussed and agreed by contract negotiations, while the general requirements concerning 3D modeling is included in the tender documents. During the process, and at agreed intervals, these models should be delivered to the client for control.

Requirements for 3D models are primarily related to generating a well-defined geometry, which must be delivered in agreed CAD formats, based on function and properties of the structure. The application must contain a description of the applicant's design tools and workflows and the approach to 3D modeling of the structures included in the tender. It is an advantage to include examples from previous projects.

Kontraktens udførelse
