The Niels Bohr Building will be constructed as two buildings, at the North Campus in Copenhagen, partly in the University Park, east of Jagtvej and partly in the business area on opposite Jagtvej.
The buildings will be performed with a partial basement and upto approx. 24 metres in height above ground level. The two buildings will be connected across Jagtvej with a Skywalk at 3rd floor level. Beneath Jagtvej, an internal closed tunnel and an open public walkway will be constructed.
The buildings will house teaching and research facilities for physical, chemical, computer science, didactic science and mathematic departments at the University of Copenhagen.
The complex will house 3-4,000 students, approx. 900 active researchers, aprox. 260 PhD students as well as technical and administrative staff.
Total construction is expected to include approximately 50,000 m2 laboratory and teaching facilities of which approx. 35,000 m2 will be above ground level and approx. 12,000 m2 will be basement areas.
In addition there will be constructed delivery areas, areas for technical installations on ground, an in-house and a public walkway under Jagtvej which will cover around 3,000 m2.
The planned work and other requisites is approved in the Municipality of Copenhagen Local Development Plan 492
Time Frames
The main project is scheduled for completion in spring 2014 with subsequent tendering and contracting phase until summer 2014.
The contract is expected to be concluded summer or late summer 2014.
The construction site will start late summer 2014 and the overall execution 2014-2015-2016 with scheduled delivery and
transfer to the University of Copenhagen (KU) in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Contract Form
Construction work is spilt in large lots. With this notice the following contract is offered:
E07 Magnetic Shielding
Protection of some areas to protect sensitive magnetic measuring instruments. Foreclosure of other rooms due to the magnetic field generating instruments. The work also includes a modeling of the magnetic fields in the building, which then serves as a basis to determine the extent necessary to magnetic shielding. The execution period for the work is expected to run from late summer or autumn 2015 to late summer or autumn 2016 and is expected to be approx. 12 months.
The design, tendering, site supervision and project monitoring is carried out by a Project Team with Ramboll DK as Total Advisor and Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, CCO Architects and GHB Landscape Architects as sub-consultants .
Construction management is offered as specific advice, information on the contract holder is expected in the beginning of 2014.
In addition to the above mentioned agreement the contracting entity offers the following lots in a separate notice:

Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:
4) Auditor's statement containing the applicant's total
revenue, operating profit, equity and equity ratio within the last 3 financial years. If the applicant has existed for less than 3 years details of available closed financial years should be included. If there has been
significant changes since the most recent financial statements, the relevant information hereof must be attached.
If an applicant is relying on other corporate performance, the applicant must demonstrate that applicant has the necessary resources, see Public Procurement Directive, Article 47, 2.

Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
5) A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 references from similar construction projects in terms of size and complexity executed the last 5 years. For each reference the contracting entity requests to see the following: size
task listed in m2, the total construction cost, execution period and brief description of the applicant's
specific task.
6) Information on the qualifications and number of employees. Statement containing information on
the average annual number of employees in the company the last three years. The contracting entity requests that the statement specifies the average annual number of employees within the specific service to which the contract
concern (see description II.1.5) and that the specification is divided into professional and educational qualifications indicating seniority in the following ranges: less
5 years, 5 - 10 year, and above 10 years. Applicants are requested to not send curriculum vitaes on specific employees.
7 ) The applicant must submit figures on compliance time deadlines, defects, accidents and customer satisfaction
for previously completed contract assignments within the last 3 years in accordance with § 9 of Commerce and
Construction Authority's Executive Order No. 1469 of 16 December 2009 figures for government buildings, etc. ,
especially from previous contract assignments correponding to the offered assignment (i.e., in the form of one or more appropriate " Fact Sheets "). If the applicant has been calculated ratios of at least three previously completed contract assignments within the past 3 years, the applicant must also submit supplementary information in accordance with § 9, including weighted average for each of said ratios, as well as information on total or partial abandonment evaluation files (ie, a " school report "). If the applicant is not in possession of the key figures/ratios calculated in accordance with Executive Order the applicant must submit a similar information, cf. § 9, 5.
