The contract is planned as a design and build contract with negotiated procedures where the contractor has the full responsibility of the entire alignment, road crossing etc, with the contract boundaries.
This contract includes all construction works as well as earthworks up to sub ballast, on the 3 km long alignment.
There are four large structures on the alignment: construction of road bridge(Brøndbyøstervej) passing over the New Railway and Holbæk Motorway at st. 4+351 / 4+371 to st. 4+780, followed by a railway tunnel under Holbaek Motorway in st. 4+780, passage of Vestvolden and Faestningskanalen at 5+578 to 5+870 and flyover of M3 at 5+807, flyover of exit M21 in 5+900 and several other crossings. Cutting through and relocation of existing baffle walls on both sides of the Holbæk Motorway.

This design and build contract is the third execution contract in The New Line Copenhagen-Ringsted project. Banedanmark wants to involve and coorperate with the contractor about the design and planning to incorporate the contractors experience. Tender material wil comprise 3D model for the contractors design and construction. The new Line Copenhagen-Ringsted project intends to invite 4-6 applicants to tender. If there are more than 6 applicants, Banedanmark will undertake prequalification based on references from similar assignments. The selection will be based on financial capacity, referencies, skills to handle 3D moddellering. Contract Conditions are in Danish. Most of the technical tender documents and drawings are in English. Background material, including for example geotechnical reports may be in Danish. Contractors technical material must be written in English or Danish. Tenderes must translate themselves. The application can be submitted electronically on CD / DVD or USB. Tender documents are expected made available on 1.12.2012.

If the applicant is a consortie or joint venture, dokumentaion are required for each participant.

Annual Reports for the 3 last years. If they are are available on a homepage a link is sufficient.
If the applicant is a consortie or joint venture, Year End Reports for 3 years are required for each participant.
Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
Relevant referencies not older than 5-8 years must be enclosed.
Usage of 3D modeling is a requirement at the project The New Line Copenhagen-Ringsted. The client supplies deliveries in 3D and expects "as build" documentations as 3D models from the contractor. Further details about file formats, principals for detailing and usage of software are to be discussed and agreed by contract negotiations, while the general requirements concerning 3D modeling is included in the tender documents. During the process, and at agreed intervals, these models should be delivered to the client for control.

Requirements for 3D models are primarily related to generating a well-defined geometry, which must be delivered in agreed CAD formats, based on function and properties of the structure. The application must contain a description of the applicant's design tools and workflows and the approach to 3D modeling of the structures included in the tender. It is an advantage to include examples from previous projects.

De vigtigste finansieringsbetingelser og betalingsordninger og/eller henvisning til de relevante bestemmelser, der regulerer dem: The contractor wil be paid monthly for executed works.
