Naviair and LFV is initiating a tender process in order to get quotations from suitably qualified and experienced insurance companies, in order to appoint.
1) a Leading Insurer; and
2) support behind the Leading Insurer who can provide Aviation Liability Insurance coverage for Naviair and LFV and their associated and subsidiary companies.
The purpose of this notice is to initiate the tender process for phase 1) The selection of the Leading Insurer and phase 2) The selection of support behind the Leading Insurer, where the selected lead quotation will be released to interested insurers in order to build support behind the appointed Leading Insurer.
The LFV group consists of the state enterprise Luftfartsverket (LFV) and the wholly-owned holding company LFV Holding AB, which runs the operation through wholly and partially owned subsidiaries and partnerships. LFV provides air navigation services mainly in Sweden. LFV employs about 1 400 people and sales over 2 billion SEK. The headquarter of LFV is located in Norrköping, Sweden.
LFV Aviation Consulting AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of LFV entrusted with carrying out export-oriented consulting operations.
NUAC HB is jointly owned by LFV Holding AB and Naviair of Denmark. As from 1.7.2012 the company will provide en route services in the Swedish / Danish Functional Airspace Block (DK/SE-FAB).
Naviair is a Company owned by the State (Danish Ministry of Transport) and is responsible for the provision of Air Navigation Services in Denmark. Included in the Air Navigation Services, are area control service in Copenhagen FIR as well as approach and tower control service at the Copenhagen Airports of Kastrup and Roskilde, and at the airports of Billund, Aalborg, Aarhus and Bornholm.
Flight information service (FIS) is provided in Copenhagen FIR to VFR flights and helicopter flights in the airspace of the North Sea, within Kangerlussuaq FIR (Greenland) up to FL 195 and within Vagar TIZ (Faroe Islands). Additionally Naviair co-ordinates the “Search and Rescue Services” in Greenland. CNS/ATM systems – comprising advanced data links, radar stations, navigational aids (radio beacons, etc.), data and voice communication systems are owned and maintained by Naviair. Moreover, Naviair offers technical service and maintenance to third party customers.
Naviair employs about 680 people at 8 sites in Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands and sales about 900 millions DKK. The headquarter of Naviair is located in Kastrup, Denmark.

b) the applicant shall deliver a short description of the company in terms of its organisation, management, professional qualifications of key persons; and
c) a list of 3 client references for the applicant acting as Leading Insurer or acting as support behind a Leading Insurer for ANSPs and/or airports during the last 3 years.
