Following the 'Climate Agreement June 2022' it has been decided to undertake offshore surveys of birds, bats and marine mammals in the study area, North Sea I, located in the Danish North Sea, off the coast of central Jutland. The surveys must be conducted over twelve (12) months (February 2023 – January 2024), followed by data analysis and reporting of the results. The results will be used as an important input to the future environmental impact assessments for the specific offshore wind farms in the area.
