The Apollo Programme must include learning and development for high potentials (‘HiPos’) within project management and line management career track (i.e. they can be managers and senior managers as well as project managers and senior project managers with team leadership responsibility):
— the different HiPos hired are holding a master’s degree within business, engineering and finance, etc. or a Ph.D and hold several years of relevant work experience within their field,
— participants must be recommended by his/her manager on the basis of an internal process called ‘People Review’ where they are assessed as having growth potential and to be high potentials in role fulfilment. The participation must be approved by the management of his/her business unit in the talent pipeline forum,
— the programme must prepare, develop and train the HiPo to succeed in a future critical position at Director level in Ørsted. It is meant to build the leadership pipeline for Director positions level and up. It is preparing HiPos to transition to a new role (up/sideways/down) as a move towards an Ørsted critical position at a higher level in the long term. It is to strengthen interpersonal communication, build enterpriser leaders to strengthen collaboration, leadership transition – leading of leaders, leading international teams, agility and diversity and inclusion across Ørsted,
— it is expected that the programme will have a minimum of 16 participants and a maximum of 20 participants,
— as a minimum, the programme will be conducted once every 1 year,
— 1 programme cycle should last no longer than 1 year.

The Columbus Programme must include development training for high potentials (‘HiPos’) within all career paths at specialist or senior specialist level (i.e. they can be specialists at specialist or senior specialist level, they can be managers at team-leader level and they can be project managers at project manager and senior project manager level):
— the different HiPos are hired as holding a master’s degree within business, engineering and finance, etc. or a Ph.D and have some years of relevant work experience within their field,
— participants must be recommended by his/her manager on basis of an internal process called ‘People Review’ where they are assessed as having growth potential and to be high potentials in role fulfillment. The participation must be approved by the management of his/her business unit in the talent pipeline forum,
— the programme is meant to build and support a pipeline of highly skilled HiPos within each of the career paths,
— it is expected that the programme will have a minimum of 18 participants and a maximum of 20 participants,
— as a minimum, the programme will be conducted twice a year with 2 different cycles starting, respectively, in January and September,
— each cycle should last no longer than 1 year.

— participants must be recommended by his/her manager on the basis of an internal process called ‘People Review’ where they are assessed as having growth potential and to be high potentials in role fulfilment. The participation must be approved by the management of his/her business unit in the talent pipeline forum and finally selected by the executive committee,
— the programme is meant to build and strengthen the bench for positions from vice president level and up. It is preparing HiPos to transition into an executive committee position and in long term to the management team. It is to build enterpriser leaders to strengthen collaboration, agility, diversity and inclusion across Ørsted. Further it is to ensure an international mindset and build a learning culture,
— the programme should also handle leadership transition – leading leaders and how it is to lead international teams on a distant with high ambiguity,
— it is expected that the programme will have a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 12 participants,
— as a minimum, the programme will be conducted once every 2 year,
— 1 programme cycle should last no longer than 1½ year.
