The objective of the management support consultant is to ensure that the DMDP has adequate management capacity to achieve its strategic objectives and implement the programme based on sound project and financial management.
The management services requested from the consultant for the ongoing DMDP are for a 5-year period (first phase) from early 2020 to end of 2024 (the ‘core contract’).
The immediate objectives and scope of work are:
— the DMDP call-process implemented effectively in accordance with guidelines and priorities of the DMDP,
— the DMDP-projects and partnerships are managed and implemented effectively and with integrity by the partners, in accordance with the agreed partnership project agreements and contracts,
— DMDP projects are monitored effectively, lessons learned, and experience with business and partnership models are compiled, and the wider stakeholder forum of profit and non-profit actors are informed and inspired to engage in commercially based development initiatives,
