The Øresundsbro Consortium hereby publishes an invitation to submit a tender for Signs VMS.
Brief description of scope:
A Traffic Control System using Variable Message Signs (VMS) to present information to drivers regarding the traffic situation at the Øresund Bridge. The Agreement includes all work related to reinvestment of VMS and installation of new gantries. In conjunction with their investment of signs the principles for displaying traffic messages on the Øresund Bridge will be changed. In some areas a few larger information signs will be used, instead of the existing way of using a larger amount of small signs, to present the information. 291 pieces of signs are to be dismantled and 139 pieces of signs are to be installed. The implementation is planned and executed while the Buyer's operation is in full operation.
