Styrelsen for Forskning og Innovation/The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation and The Technical University of Denmark, DTU wish to purchase the equipment described below, however it must be emphasized that the means to go through with this purchase, are part of the Danish Financial act which is expected to be passed in January 2017. The contract can under no circumstances be signed before the amendment regarding this purchase is in place. The Danish Center for Marine Research is purchasing a mobile equipment package to facilitate the use of naval research vessels for oceanographic investigations. Part of this mobile equipment package is a retractable A-frame launch and recovery system (LARS) with a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and two associated electric winches. The LARS and associated HPU is to be mounted on a standard 20 foot shipping container footprint.
