This contract describes the requirements of a high-pressure TEM sample holder and gas mixing system, which will be purchased by DTU Cen. The specified TEM holder should in general allow characterization of nanomaterials in a transmission electron microscope in a continuous gas flow at ambient pressure (and above) and elevated temperatures. The TEM holder should be compatible with a FEI Titan (Super twin) transmission electron microscope without any modifications to the micro-scope. The allowance of the high pressure in situ characterization should not compromise the micro-scope performance or safety. A gas mixing system allowing control of gas pressure and composition should be part of the package, integrating the gas flow control and the heating of the specimen in the holder.
