Kriegers Flak offshore platform certification

Energinet.dk — regarding the platform KFE also on behalf of 50 Hertz Transmission GmbH — hereby announces the certification tender for the Kriegers Flak (KF) offshore platforms KFA, KFB and KFE. The platforms shall, in particular, hold the equipment needed for the connection of the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farms and the equipment needed for the offshore interconnector Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution (CGS) between Denmark and Germany.
It is intended that the certification is to be conducted in the following 3 phases:
a. Certification of the detail design of the 3 topsides;
b. Review of the basic design of the 2 substructures;
c. Certification of the detail design of the 2 substructures.
This tender covers, in particular, the services with respect to the certification of the design for the 3 topsides KFA, KFB and KFE (KFE only optionally), and the foundations KFA and KFB respectively KFBE as the case may be.
The platforms contain the following main components:
1. KFA;
a. 1 x 220/33 kV transformer;
b. 1 x 220 kV reactor;
c. 220 kV GIS (4 bays);
2. KFE:
a. 1 x 220/150 kV transformer;
b. 220-kV cable termination and cable bridge to KFB;
c. 150 kV GIS (6 bays, sectionalized double busbar);
3. KFB:
a. 2 x 220/33 kV transformer;
b. 220 kV GIS (5 bays).
The platform KFA is expected to be placed in the western part of the Kriegers Flak area.
The platforms KFB and KFE are expected to be placed on 1 common foundation in the eastern part of the Kriegers Flak area. The KFB topside is considered to hold all auxiliary systems needed for the platform KFE (SCADA, LV, power supply, Heli pad etc.). The platforms KFB and KFE are expected to be connected with walkways and are expected to be 2-4 m apart.
The tendered services shall include, in particular, the following:
Technical description:
The certification must include (i) the detail design of the topsides KFA and KFB and, optionally to the benefit of the contracting entities, of the topside KFE, and (ii) the detail design of the 2 substructures for the 3 topsides:
Certification of topside KFA;
Certification of topside KFB;
Certification of substructure KFA;
Certification of substructure KFB respectively KFBE, if applicable.
Option:
Certification of topside KFE.
Please note that the relevant details will be specified in the tender materials.
It is intended that the bidder to be awarded shall enter into separate contracts with (i) Energinet.dk and (ii) Energinet.dk and 50Hertz Transmission GmbH.
