The Danish Defence is in the process of upgrading and extending its communications capabilities. The new capabilities will enable the military vehicles to enter into a modern, network based communication- and information system on the battlefield. During an operation, several communication systems on each vehicle will simultaneously need to transmit and receive data and voice signals. This will happen both from static positions and on the move. It is important that each vehicles can fill its role without any communication break-down or limitations caused by interference between the vehicle systems and/or antennas. The increasing number of systems leads to an increasing number of antennas to be fitted onto military vehicles. A part of this process is optimization of the vehicles' topside and positioning of antennas. The work includes approximately 1 500 vehicles during the next two years. The main reason for using dual band antennas with integrated GPS antenna is to limit the number of antennas on the vehicles, without degrading the performance of radios compared with traditional antennas. Each dual band antenna will be used for one VHF radio and one UHF radio at the same time.

Re. Section III.2) A candidate may rely on the economic, financial and/or technical capacity of other entities, regardless of the legal nature of the links with the entities. If a candidate wants to rely on other entities and wishes that the capacity of other entities is included when establishing the suitability of the candidate, the candidate must prove that the other entities will and shall put the relevant resources at the disposal of the candidate. For instance this is fulfilled if the candidate submits a co-operation agreement clearly stating that the candidate has the relevant resources at its disposal (conversely, it is not sufficient to submit a declaration stating that the candidate is entitled to sell products on behalf of another entity if the candidate wishes to rely on the capacity of this other entity).
Re. IV.3.4.) The stated time 13:00 is local Danish time.
Re. section VI.3) The contracting authority would like to receive the application in 3 hard copies and electronically on a CDROM, USB key or similar electronic device. Applications is asked to be submitted in a sealed enveloped marked ‘CONFIDENTIAL — Tender for Dual band antenna — not to be opened by internal mail’
Applications shall NOT be submitted by e-mail.
When submitting contact details the candidates are encouraged to submit as much information as possible and preferable also the e-mail address of the candidate's contact person.
Within the confines of art.12 of the Danish Executive Order no. 712 of 15.6.2011 (on the procedures for the award of public works contracts, public service contract and public supply contracts), the Contracting Authority may obtain additional information and clarifications from the candidates after the expiry of the application deadline. However, the Contracting Authority is under no obligation to obtain additional information and clarifications from the candidates.
