Contract on supply of books

The Royal Danish Library and University of Copenhagen is announcing the pending contract on supply of books. Between them the 2 contracting authorities covers the needs of most of the higher education in Copenhagen such as Law, Humanities, Natural/Life/Pharmaceutical Science, Social Science and Theology.
The contract will be divided into 3 Lots:
1. Books in English publish in Anglo-American speaking countries,
2. Books in German,French, Spanish or Italian speaking countries,
3. Books published in any language in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Iceland.
The Supplier must provide services to Libraries and university researchers alike. This includes cataloguing books and supplying bibliographical data from an online database with a search function also able to search internal databases as well as linking to external bibliographic data.

Betingelser for deltagelse
Egnethed til at udøve det erhverv:
Consolidation Act No 336 of 13.5.1997, on limitation of debtors' participation in public works contracts, etc. stipulates that in connection with the purchase of goods and services, the public contracting entity must demand that any Tenderer makes a solemn declaration stating whether the Tenderer has any outstanding debt payable to any public authorities in the form of taxes, duties and social security contributions under Danish law or the laws of the country in which the Tenderer has its registered office.

The above matters are included in the assessment of whether the company should be excluded from participating in the tender procedure.
Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:
As documentation of the Tenderer's financial capacity, the Tenderer must provide the following information:
a) Statement of turnover,
b) Solvency ratio and
c) Profit ratio for the 3 most recent and available accounting years.
It is not sufficient documentation to enclose the balance sheets of the company. If the Tenderer fails to do so, the Tender will be deemed nonconforming to contract conditions and consequently not be taken into consideration.
Mindstekrav til niveauet:
1. A solvency ratio of at least 5 % in the last 3 financial years.
2. Positive profit ratio for the last 3 financial years.
Kontraktens udførelse

The invoice must comply with the Danish legislation for public invoicing at all times. At present OIOUBL electronic invoicing and NemHandel exchange infrastructure is in force.
