Acquisition of plant growth chambers to Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences
Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences intend to acquire 17 plant growth chambers to replace the existing but outdated growth facilities. The plant growth chambers must comply with specific requirements for use for 'in vitro' tissue culture, such as temperature-controlled variable light, large capacity and flexibility, i.e. the equipment must be adaptable and transformable to future needs also to cultivate model plants such as 'Arabidopsis' (dicotyledonous model organism ), 'Brachypodium' (monocotyledonous model organism), moss and algae.
