By winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, EBU (European Broadcasting Union) has awarded DR to host and produce the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
The event is taking place in Copenhagen with transmission the 6th, 8th and 10.5.2014.
DR would like to rent Specialized Camera Accessories and equivalent services/technical personnel for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
DR will hire the equipment between March 24th and 15.5.2014.

Applying companies must download, complete and submit a Solemn Declaration (Document A) as documentation of whether or not the company has unpaid outstanding debts to public authorities concerning social security contributions, taxes orduties cf. Danish Act no. 336 of 13.5.1997 on restricting debtors access to public tenders, and/or should be excluded from participation cf. article 45 in Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council(Public Procurement Directive).

Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:
As documentation for the applying company's economic and financial capacity, the applying company must download, complete and submit Document B – Key Figures (Economic and financial capacity) drawn up by DR for the purpose.

If Document B – Key Figures (Economic and financial capacity) is not filled in correctly, DR may be obliged to disregard the request for participation.
Document B – Key Figures (Economic and financial capacity):
A declaration certified by an auditor or an accountant from the applying company having authorization to certify the following key figures for the applying company:
1) Total sales/revenue,
2) Sales/revenue in the relevant Products/services area, as described in item II.1.5),
3) Net Profit after taxes,
4) Shareholders Equity/net capital,
5) The Equity Ratio,
6) The Liquidity Ratio,
7) The Profit Margin,
8) Number of full time employees.
All key figures shall be stated for the past 2 accounting years available.
If an applying company has existed for less than 2 years, key figures for the available accounting years shall be given.
Reliance on the financial and/or economic capacities of other entities:
If the applying company intends to rely on the financial and/or economic capacities of other entities, regardless of corporate relations with the applying company, the applying company must document that it will have at its disposal the resources and assets necessary by documenting the joint liability between the companies.

Accordingly, the applying company must also submit Document B – Key Figures (Economic and financialcapacity) for both entities.

To be suitable to submit a tender, the applying company must render probable that they have the economic and financial capacity to fulfill the contract in a satisfying manner.
Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
As documentation for the company's technical capacity, the applying company must draw up a list of references disclosing the information requested as listed below as well as providing DR with information regarding the staff involved.
The applying company must download, complete and submit Document C – List of References (Technical capacity) and the appendix to this document, Appendix C1 – Professional Qualifications (Technical capacity), drawn up by DR for the purpose.

Document C – List of References (Technical capacity):
A list of references in which the applying company provides information on the most important contracts of similar nature as to the object of the present contract as described in the Contract Notice item II.1.5).
Similar nature regarding this tender: Live Music TV shows equipped with minimum 10 cameras where the applying company has been the main supplier of Specialized Camera Accessories, personnel and project management. The main purpose of the productions has to have been TV transmission and therefore not reports from e.g. concerts.

Please note, that sport events are not defined as deliveries of similar nature regarding this tender.
The information must cover references regarding contracts executed within the last 3 years (2011, 2012 and 2013). In addition, the list of references must include the following information:
i) Name of customer and contact person within the company,
ii) Actual value of awarded contract in DKK,
iii) Use of sub-contractors (to the extent that subcontractors have been involved, a description of their role,responsibilities and cooperation is required),
iv) Description of the contract, hereunder the applying company/consortia's role and responsibilities.
Appendix C1 – Professional Qualifications (Technical capacity):
Information about the professional qualifications of the staff involved in projects relating to the services described in the present Contract Notice item II.1.5). The information requested by this appendix must include the following:
1) The number of staff currently involved in the provision of services similar to those required by DR, with a brief description of their roles and responsibilities.
2) Information on education, language skills and qualifications for personnel provided this tender.
Reliance on the technical capacities of other entities:
If the applying company intends to rely on the technical capacities of other entities, regardless of corporate relations with the applying company, the applying company must submit Document C – List of References (Technical capacity) and the appendix to this document, Appendix C1 – Professional Qualifications (Technical capacity) for each of the participating companies.

Mindstekrav til niveauet:
To be suitable to submit a tender, the applying company must be able to document at least 3 references of relevance. In this regard, relevance is understood as references regarding contracts concerning the type of contract as described above. If an applying company is unable to document 3 references of relevance as a minimum, the company will be excluded from bidding.

DR intends to sign agreement with 1 supplier and the agreement covers the whole event. In case one supplier alone cannot provide all parts and services required, one or several subcontractors are acceptable. However, one main supplier bearing responsibility must be stated in the tender. DR will not sign agreements with subcontractors.

The consortium or similar amalgamation of companies must designate a joint representative, who is able to represent the entire consortium or amalgamation in a legally binding matter in regards to the tender.

By winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, EBU (European Broadcasting Union) has awarded DR to host and produce the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The Event is taking place in Copenhagen with transmission in the beginning of May 2014. The time schedules for the production impracticables the time limits laid down in Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 Article 38(3)(a)&(b) and DR is obliged to proceed the procedure as urgency render c.f. Article 38(8)(a)&(b).
