Pier C Extension 2015

Copenhagen Airports A/S

The extension of Pier C will provide bridge served aircraft stands to three gates for the long-haul air traffic. A small part of the building will consist of technical rooms on apron. The first floor is the primary passenger area. The extension will be connected to the existing Pier C by a ramp leading over an airport traffic lane. The necessary demolition and adjustment of existing facility is a part of the project. The second floor will consist of a technical area and a corridor for arriving non EU passengers.
The extension is primarily a concrete construction with facades of sandwich panels and glass and a modular roof construction.
A fenced construction site will be available for the contractor on apron. Before start-up on site the foundation for the construction will be provided be another contractor.
In the closing part of the construction phase, Copenhagen Airport will do minor internal installation works, such as electrical fittings, in the new building and cable- and pavement work on apron. These works will be performed by other contractors.

The additional documents mentioned in IV.3.3 only consist of the consortium form mentioned in III.1.3. The expected duration of the contract is 12 months, cf. II.3 above. This includes a period of approximately 2 months for planning and mobilization. The language used in the tender procedure (including tender material, proposals, negotiations and contract) will be Danish. 5 candidates will be selected to participate. If there are more than 5 candidates who meet the criteria for selection, the 5 best qualified candidates will be invited to submit a tender; based on the information regarding technical capacity in accordance with III.2.3, 1+3. To be eligible for participating in this contract award procedure, candidates must not be in any of the situations listed in Article 45 of Directive 2004/18/EC.

A certificate or declaration duly signed demonstrating that the candidate is not in any of the situations listed in Article 45 of Directive 2004/18/EC.
Any candidate who is found by the contracting entity to be guilty of misrepresentation in providing any information required as a condition of participation in this tender procedure or fails to supply information, may be declared ineligible and will not be selected to continue in the process.

Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:
The candidates must have the economic and financial capacity to perform the tasks covered by the contract. The following minimum requirements apply:
(A) Minimum annual total turnover of 200 million DKK (average within the past 3 years).
(B) Minimum equity 25 million DKK (recent financial year).
The following documents must be provided as evidence of economic and financial capacity:
(1) Statement of total turnover, revenue before taxes, equity and total assets covering the past 3 completed financial years. The statement shall point out the part of the total turnover, that is related to construction works performed as a main contractor.

2) Evidence of relevant general and product liability insurance from a reputable company.
If the candidate is a consortium, the abovementioned information shall be provided by all participants.
Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
The candidates must have the technical and professional capacity to perform the tasks covered by the contract.
The following minimum requirement apply:
Minimum one construction project with gross area above 4.000 m² carried out by the candidate within the past 5 years.
The following documents must be provided as evidence of technical capacity:
1) A list of works carried out by the candidate within the past 5 years, detailing the scope and nature, time of delivery, the value of the contract and contact information of the recipients. It shall be stated if and to what extent the works have been sub-contracted.

2) A description of the candidate's QA-system and environmental management system.
3) An overview of the candidate's personel and manpower ressources on average within the past 3 years - categorized in accordance with educational and professional qualifications.
4) An indication of the portion of the contract that the candiate intends possibly to subcontract.
If the candidate is a consortium, the abovementioned information shall be provided by all participants.
The information provided by the candidate with reference to 1) may not exceed 4 pages (A4). This limitation also applies if the candidate is a consortium, i.e. a consortium may - independent on the number of participants - provide 4 pages as a maximum.
