Kriegers Flak offshore transformer platforms design

Energinet.dk — regarding the platform KFE also on behalf of 50Hertz Transmission GmbH — hereby announces the design tender of the Kriegers Flak (KF) offshore platforms KFA, KFE (together KFAE) and KFB. The platforms shall, in particular, hold the equipment needed for the connection of the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farms and the equipment needed for the offshore inter-connector Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution (CGS) between Denmark and Germany.
This tender covers, in particular, the services with respect to the design of the 3 platforms KFA, KFE and KFB.
The platforms contain the following main components:
1. KFA;
a. 1 x 220/33 kV transformer;
b. 1 x 220 kV reactor;
c. 220 kV GIS (5 bays).
2. KFE.
a. 1 x 220/150 kV transformer;
b. 220 kV cable termination and cable bridge to KFA;
c. 150 kV GIS (6 bays, sectionalized double bus-bar).
3. KFB.
a. 2 x 220/33 kV transformer;
b. 220 kV GIS (4 bays).
The platforms KFA and KFE are placed on the same foundation. The KFA topside holds all auxiliary systems needed for the platform KFE (SCADA, LV, power supply, Heli pad etc.).
The platforms KFA and KFE are connected with walkways and are expected to be 2-4 m apart.
The KFE and KFA topsides are placed on a shared foundation in the western.
Part of the Kriegers Flak area. The KFB topside is placed on a foundation in the eastern part of the Kriegers Flak area.
The tendered services shall include, in particular, the following:
— Technical description
— The detailed design must include the topsides KFA, KFE and KFB together with options for the basic design of the substructure for the 3 topsides.
The detailed design includes, in particular, the following topsides:
1. KFA;
2. KFE;
3. KFB.
The option for the basic design includes, in particular, the following substructures:
1. KFB;
2. KFAE.
All MetOcean data needed for the design will be available including wave and current data, ice load, wind speed and direction.
The detailed design must include all disciplines necessary for a comprehensive documentation that can be certified by a 3rd. party certification agency and hereafter handed over for fabrication without further engineering.
Please note that the relevant details will be specified in the tender materials.
It is expected that the bidder to be awarded shall enter into two separate contracts with (i) Energinet.dk regarding the platforms KFA and KFB and (ii) Energinet.dk and 50Hertz Transmission GmbH regarding the platform KFE.
