Copenhagen Airports A/S intend to procure and install a new Baggage reconciliation system (BRS) consisting of software, handheld terminals, operator workstations and servers.
The implementation of the BRS system shall prevent loading of unauthorized baggage, enhance the communication between handlers and Copenhagen Airport baggage control room, provide data for process analysis and secure full tracking of baggage throughout the baggage process.

The BRS system will be used in the baggage sortation area and at the aircraft side for load and unload of baggage.The contract shall include training of personnel, technical support, documentation and spare parts, covering all hardware, servers, handheld terminals, operator workstations, etc.Also, the contract shall offer a service agreement covering both a hotline telephone/email service as well as on-site service as necessary.

Sourcing System: In order to participate in the tender, the candidate must registre through a electronic sourcing management system, which manage the tenders of CPH. This system administre the whole procurement process from prequalification to contract awarding, which creates a common communication platform between the parties and also a easy method to upload documents. If there are more than 4 candidates who meet the criteria for selection, the 4 best qualified candidates will be invited to submit a tender; based on an evaluation of the candidates' economic, financial and technical capacity, cf. Beskrivelse af mulighederne:
1) Store a picture taken with the hand held terminal that can be used when creating a short shipped baggage report. Pictures can be taken by Handlers or CPH staff.
2) Baggage tracing app on a tablet, that runs on a Iphone/Android platform. A “Find My Baggage” App, to get information about the status of a bag. Status could be delivered, in process, delayed bag, etc. Key in the 6 or 10 digit number to find last known position of the “bag”.

3) Include weight of bags, so total weight of ULD or bulk load can be calculated.
Display the information on a workstation or handheld for information and clearing of the total weight for the Aircraft.
