Traffic-monitoring equipment
In Denmark, several sections of motorway are equipped with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and it is expected that more will follow in the coming years.
Traffic detectors will be needed for both existing and future systems. The detectors shall be designed for mounting either above the lanes or next to the road and may be based on technologies such as: Radar, infrared, ultrasound etc.
The Danish Road Directorate wishes to enter into a framework agreement with one supplier for both types of detectors or with two suppliers - one for each type of detector.
