Insurance services related to the construction of Cityringen – branch off to Nordhavnen
The call for tenders comprises insurance services related to the construction of Cityringen – Branch off to Nordhavnen Project.
The Cityringen – Branch off to Nordhavnen metro is a 2.5 km double track branching off the Cityringen Project, starting after a bifurcation chamber on the Cityringen Project located under the lake called Sortedams Sø.
The first approx. 1 800 metres will be in the form of a bored tunnel with an internal diameter of 4.9 m, following which, over a distance of approx. 350 metres, the Nordhavnen metro will be taken up to ground level via a cut and cover tunnel and a ramp. Finally, the Nordhavnen metro will end with approx. 250 metres of metro above ground up to a viaduct abutment.
A tunnel station will be established near the existing Nordhavnen S-train station, while another station will be established above ground at the quay called Orientkaj. Furthermore, a shaft will be established in the park called Krauseparken. The Nordhavnen Metro will be prepared for possible extension further to the station at Orientkaj.
Construction is planned to be executed in the period 2014-19 followed by a defects liability period.
The scope of work for the insurance services is to insure the construction phase followed by a defects liability period.
