Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Wind Tunnel Axial Fan

DTU (Technical University of Denmark) is building a new wind tunnel at Campus Risø, Roskilde, Denmark for use in aerodynamic and aeroacoustic measurements. This tender is for the delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the fan of the wind tunnel. The fan should be an Axial fan with a motoreffect between 1,8 MW and 2,8 MW (expected around 2,5 MW) with a diameter of approximately 5 meters. The fan must be able to deliver a flow rate of approximately 760 m3/sec. The contract in main terms covers delivery of the fan, motor, cooling of motor, frequency adapter/transformer, other supplementary delivarables and installation and commissioning. Further more the contract covers maintenance for a period up to 10 years. Since the fan will be used in an aqoustic wind tunnel it must be low noise and low vibrant.

Further more the Tenderer must provide documentation for organizational capacity for installation and maintenance. Finally the Tenderer must provide documentation for internal quality assurance procedures.

If more tenderers wish to make a tender offer together as a consortium or the Tenderer wish to refer to capacities from other companies such as mother/daughter/sister/subcontractor companies the names of the companies must be stated and a common representative must be appointed which, on behalf of the Consortium/Tenderer, will be in charge of all work in connection with the making of the offer, and have the power of attorney to sign the contract of behalf of the Consortium/Tenderer.
