General information about CITYRINGEN:
Metroselskabet (MS) is constructing Cityringen in Copenhagen. Cityringen comprises i.a. 16 km tunnels, 17 underground stations and 4 shafts.
Specific information about the branch off to NORDHAVNEN:
Metroselskabet is also constructing a branch off to Nordhavnen.
The branch of to Nordhavnen is a dual track branching off Cityringen, starting after a bifurcation chamber on Cityringen located under the lake called Sortedams Sø.
The first approx. 1,800 metres will be in the form of a bored twin tunnel, following which, over a distance of approx. 350 metres, the branch of to Nordhavnen will be taken up to ground level via a cut and cover tunnel and a ramp; finally, the the branch of to Nordhavnen will end with approx. 250 metres of elevated metro.
A tunnel station will be established near the existing Nordhavn S-train station, while an elevated station will be established at the quay called Orientkaj. Furthermore, a shaft will be established in the park called Krauseparken.
The branch of to Nordhavnen will be prepared for possible extension further to the station at Orientkaj.
The branch off to Nordhavnen is divided into 4 contracts (CRNH1, CRNH2, CRNH3 and CRNH4).
The present contract notice comprises the Contract No. 1 (CRNH1), Contract No. 2 (CRNH2) and a combination of Contract No. 1 and 2 (CRNH1+2).
It is possible to apply for prequalification for CRNH1 and/or CRNH2 and/or CRNH1+2.
Specific information about CRNH1:
CRNH1 comprises tunnelling from Nordhavnen Station to a bifurcation chamber at Cityringen, located under Sortedams Sø. The bifurcation chamber is constructed by the Cityringen Civil Works Contractor.
The scope of work includes supply of 1 or 2 TBM(s) and boring of approximately 2 X 1,800 meters tunnel with an inner diameter of a minimum of 4,9 meters.
Specific information about CRNH2:
CRNH2 comprises Under Ground Civil Works including Design, Civil Works, Mechanical and Electrical Works and Architectural Works for:
— Nordhavnen station.
— Krauseparken shaft.
— Launching shaft including groundwater control in relation to the launching shaft.
— Cut and cover tunnels.
— Ramps.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT CRNH1+2:
CRNH1+2 comprises of CRNH1 and CRNH2 in one contract.
