This tender concerns acquisition of:
— 9 pieces of Mechanized Trackway;
— Options for buying up to 10 more Mechanized Trackways;
— 3 pieces of Additional Mechanized Trackway;
— Options for buying up to 10 more Additional Mechanized Trackways.
The Mechanized Trackway shall consist of:
— The Mechanized Trackway capable of carrying heavy military vehicles and tanks;
— Spool for Mechanized Trackway;
— Launch and recovery system for Mechanized Trackway;
— Hook lifts capable flat rack for carrying the above.
Additional Mechanized Trackway shall consist of:
— The Mechanized Trackway capable of carrying heavy military vehicles and tanks;
— Spoolrack;
— Spool for Mechanized Trackway.
The Mechanized Trackways and Additional Mechanized Trackways will be deployed during combat as well as non-combat operations as a mean to improve mobility for heavy military vehicles and tanks. The Mechanized Trackways and Additional Mechanized Trackways are carried on a flat rack and launched from a hook lift truck. The Mechanized Trackways and Additional Mechanized Trackways will be used in connection with existing infrastructure bridges and deployed tactical bridges in order to prevent vehicles from becoming bogged down during passing of these critical points. The Mechanized Trackway and Additional Mechanized Trackways are used by military en-gineers in combination with bridging equipment on both banks of water obstacles with a minimum of 50 m. Mechanized Trackway and/or Additional Mechanized Trackways on each side. This to be able to overcome demolished existing infrastructure bridges and/or roads.
The Mechanized Trackways and Additional Mechanized Trackways will be used by a variety of combat wheeled and tracked vehicles up to MLC 72.
The Mechanized Trackway and Additional Mechanized Trackways must be easy to handle and mechanized, in order to ensure fast launching during operations and thereby ensure rapid move-ment of military units.

Re. section III.2) When submitting the bids the tenderers must submit a solemn declaration stating to which degree the tenderer has fulfilled its obligations relating to the payment of direct and indirect taxes and social security contributions in accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which the candidate is established and in Denmark in accordance with consolidation act no. 336 of 13 May 1997 regarding public payments. A form that the tenderers can use will be submitted with the tender material. When submitting contact details the candidates are encouraged to submit as much information as possible and preferable also the e-mail address of the candidate's contact person. As described in the Tender Instructions, the Danish Defence will conduct a user test of the Mechanized Trackway. Thus, tenderers compliant with DALO requirements will be asked to deliver a Mechanized Trackway for user testing. The purpose of the user testing is to verify if the Desirable Requirements in the Requirement Specification (Annex B to the Draft Contract) are ful-filled and to test the usability of the Mechanized Trackway as described below in the Tender Instructions. The tenderers are specifically made aware that all tenderers' costs in connection with the user testing shall be borne solely be the tenderers and are of no concern to DALO. In accordance with the provisions of this Contract Notice, variants will not be accepted. However, the tenderer may submit more than one tender, if all tenders comply with all mandatory requirements. If the tenderer submit more than one tender, each tender shall be submitted separately according to the rules set out in the Instructions to Tenderers.

Reference is made to the tender documents with regard to the payment terms. Invoicing must be done in accordance with the at any time applicable Danish legislation on public payments. At present this is the Danish consolidation act. no. 798 of June 2007 which demands that invoicing must be done electronically. Exact terms will be stated in the contract.

The tenderers are specifically made aware that it is a condition for the contract, that the tenderer before the signing of the contract also enters into an Industrial Cooperation Contract with the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) in accordance with the Danish "Erhvervsfremmeloven" and the associated "Circular on Industrial Cooperation in connection with Procurement of Defence Equipment" No. 88 of 27 October 2010. Such Industrial Cooperation Contract can be conditioned upon the Tenderers posting of a bank guarantee.
