Wrapping and dehumidification of East Bridge cables
The scope of the works comprises supply and installation of a main cable dehumidification system on the Great Belt East Bridge including provision and installation of temporary access facilities on the cables. Some materials may be delivered by the Client.
The 2 main cables of the East Bridge have a diameter of 0.82 m and a total length of 2,965 m each. The main cables are carrying the East Bridge in between the offshore anchor blocs via the 254 m high pylons. The bridge deck in the 1,624 main span is elevated some 65 m above the 1,300 m vide navigation channel.
The Contractors tender shall be based on a detailed design provided by the client.
