Radiotherapy Accelerator System for Research to Center for Nuclear Technologies (DTU Nutech)

DTU's Center for Nuclear Technologies (DTU Nutech) invites tenders for a complete, state-of-the-art radiotherapy accelerator system for research.
The medical linear accelerator system will constitute the main irradiation facility in a new laboratory for fundamental medical dosimetry to be established at DTU Nutech. The accelerator will be used for research, metrology, and university teaching relating to medical dosimetry of ionizing radiation and technologies of modern radiotherapy. Important research targets will be to develop traceable dosimetry and primary standards for the most modern types of radiotherapy, in particular radiotherapy using small fields. The accelerator should therefore have a highly stable output, a wide range of photon and electron energies and reflect the present state-of-the art within this field.
The accelerator will be located in a non-clinical, laboratory environment at the DTU Risø Campus and it will not be used for any kind of patient treatments. A therapy-level reference cobalt-60 source will be placed within the same shielded room as the accelerator.

The Tenderer must declare that he has no unpaid debt to public authorities. Consolidated Act no. 336 of 13.5.1997 on limitation of debtors' participation in public works contracts, etc., stipulates that, in connection with the purchase of goods and services, the public contracting entity may demand that any Tenderer make a solemn declaration stating to which extent the Tenderer has unpaid mature debt to any public authorities in the form of taxes, duties and contributions to social security schemes under Danish law or to the laws of the country in which the Tenderer has its registered office.

DTU will only contract with financially sound companies as it is of material importance that the Ten-derer stays in business for the entire Contract Period.
As documentation of the Tenderer's financial capacity, the Tenderer must provide the following docu-ment by completing of Template B:
a) Statement of turnover, solvency ratio and profit ratio for the three most recent and available accounting years.
Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
It is of decisive importance to DTU that the Tenderer has the required technical capacity to complete the works.
As documentation of the Tenderer's technical capacity, the Tenderer must provide the following document by completing Template C:
a) A list of the most important and comparable works completed by the Tenderer during the three most recent calendar years stating the time as well as name and telephone number of the recipient.
b) Information on the Tenderer's organisation, mainly information on the person or body respon-sible for quality control, including number of employees during the 3 most recent calendar years.
c) Tenderer’s internal procedures and guidelines on quality assurance (e.g. quality systems and certifications).
