Protection upgrade of seats for Piranha IIIC

Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization

In order to raise the protection level of soldiers and material Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization hereby intends to purchase protection prototypes for the Armoured Personnel Carrier Piranha IIIC produced by GDELS-Mowag in the following area:
Mine protections seat for driver and gunner/commander. Seats, with energy absorption, for increase of driver’s and gunner’s survivability in case of blast mine incidents. Seats must be certificated/proven according to international standards.
This contract also include the installation of kits material:
Complete installation of kits material, regarding mine protections seat, of ten (10) vehicles in the missions area, Afghanistan.

This contract concerns the production of a prototype. The final project must be at a state where the original supplier of the Danish Piranha IIIC - GDELS-Mowag - can certify the prototype. Betingelser for deltagelse
Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
The supplier must send a list of references from prior delivery of the PADS. The list must contain name of the reference, time and quantity of the delivery.
Mindstekrav til niveauet:
The supplier must be able to demonstrate minimum one reference from prior similar project performed in the past.
Kontraktens udførelse
Krav om deponering og sikkerhedsstillelse:
The supplier shall supply on demand an unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee for any pre-payment recieved under contract.

If a consortium of companies submits a joint tender the consortium is obliged to accept joint and several liability.
The consortium as such must provide adequate documentation hereof. The consortium must provide information concerning how it is organised and its participants.
