Femern A/S

The services are divided into two phases:
a) the insurance procurement phase (phase 1); and
b) the insurance maintenance and risk handling phase (phase 2).
The insurance procurement phase will start from awarding the contract and will continue until the arrangement of the project insurances have been completed extending to placing of a comprehensive multi stakeholders project insurance programme and special risks insurances. The insurance maintenance and risk handling represent continuing services during the building of the fixed link i.a. comprising assistance with:
a) identification, description and communication of risks;
b) risk prevention;
c) risk mitigation and control; and
d) administration of insurances including handling of insurance claims.

Betingelser for deltagelse
Egnethed til at udøve det erhverv:
The candidate shall provide the following information:
a) Name and address of the candidate;
b) Candidate's contact person.
An authorised representative of each candidate (extending to each member of a bidding consortium) shall provide a written declaration that:
1) the candidate is not subject to proceedings for bankrupcy, winding-up or special arrangement with creditors;
2) the candidate has not been convicted of any offence concerning his professional conduct;
3) the candidate has fulfilled all obligations related to taxes and security contributions.
Økonomisk og finansiel stilling:
The candidate (and each member of a bidding consortium, if applicable) shall provide the following information:
a) annual reports or at least balance sheets for the previous 2 financial years;
b) statement of overall turnover and turnover with respect to the services to be performed in phase 1 (the insurance procurement services) and phase 2 (the insurance maintenance and risk handling services), respectively for the previous 3 financial years.

Teknisk og faglig kompetence:
The candidate (and each member of a bidding consortium, if applicable) shall provide the following information:
a) A list of the principal assignments with respect to the services to be performed in phase 1 (the insurance procurement services) and phase 2 (the insurance maintenance and risk handling services), respectively for the previous 3 financial years. For each assignment the candidate is asked to give the following information: the value, dates and type of client (public or private) as well as type of project/operation and the kind of services provided;

Kontraktens udførelse
Krav om deponering og sikkerhedsstillelse:
Parent company guarantees will be required upon signing of the contract in case of subsidiaries acting as bidders or members of a bidding consortium.

Subject to possible premature termination upon completion of individual assignments, the duration is planned to include the building phase of the Fehmarnbelt fixed link because of the need for continuity in the handling of risks.
