Human resource planning and scheduling system for TV 2/ Danmark A/S.
TV 2 is looking for a system to handle human resource planning.
The system should cover:
— Employee scheduling,
— Resource and facilities handling,
— Production planning,
— Time registration.
TV 2 is the leading TV-station in Denmark, transmitting 40 000 hours of broadcasting annually.
TV 2 is public owned, but commercially financed.
The number of employees is approx. 850 permanent staff and 350 freelancers.
TV 2 operates 5 channels – TV 2, TV 2 Zulu, TV 2 Charlie, TV 2 Film, TV 2 News.
And one internet based on-demand TV-channel, TV 2 Sputnik.
TV 2 has 40 000 hours of broadcasting annually.
The HR resource system must include tools for registration, search and extraction of staff time and resource registrations.
Overall, the system shall be able to handle:
— That employees have multiple skills,
— That the duty planners plans for groups of employees,
— Individuals self-organizing,
— Employees who only have to record absences in the form of holiday and sickness,
— Registration of events with associated production needs,
— Planning for a shorter or longer period ahead,
— Supporting records at several different accounts and channels.
The system must be able to integrate with the following it systems:
— ERP system Dynamics AX 2009,
— Program schedule management “Whats’On” from Mediagenix,
— “iNews” – news content and distribution system from Avid,
— MS Outlook.
Technical:
— Our preferred database is Microsoft SQL Server,
— Transfer of roster information for Smartphone / iPhone.
Timetable for the project will be:
—Contract signed, primo September 2011,
—Takeover test, ultimo October 2011.

NB. All applicants will be requested to demonstrate their standard software solutions, as part of the pre-qualification phase.

The time schedule for the demonstrations will be ultimo May 2011.

— A reference list of similar deliveries affected in the past 24 months,

— Information about the support organization’s structure, size, expertise and geographical location in EU.
