Billund Lufthavn (airport) must change the existing EDS units in the baggage handling system in order to meet the EU standard 2 regulations. For this purpose 2 or 3 new EDS units (explosive detection systems) shall be built in the baggage handling system in the existing passenger terminal building. The 2 or 3 new EDS units shall be in operation by June 2012.
The scope of work comprises of authorities approval, delivery, dismantling of existing EDS units, erection and commissioning of the 2 or 3 new EDS units. Each of the EDS units must be able to screen minimum 1 500 pieces of baggage per hour.

— The approximate value of delivery,

— The type of system and the capacity of the system,

— Brief description of the system,

— Contact person by the owner of the system.

Kontraktens udførelse
Krav om deponering og sikkerhedsstillelse:

Any advance payment of the contract price will be subject to a submission of an advance payment bond for the equivalent amount, including VAT.

The tenders shall provide a performance bond as specified in the tender documents.

If the applicant is a consortium one person must be pointed as responsible for the contract with Billund Lufthavn.

Each member of the consortium must sign a certificate of joint and liability.

If the applicant is a consortium, each individual member of the consortium must provide all information.

Complaints regarding prequalification shall be filed within 30 calendar days from the date of the procurer's notice to applying entities on whether or not they have been qualified. Complaints about the procedure shall be filed within six months from the date when the award of contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union by the procurer. The complaint period shall begin on the first day following publication of the notice. At the latest when a complaint is lodged with the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement, the complainant shall notify the procurer in writing that a complaint has been lodged with the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement and if the complaint has been filed in the stand-still period. In cases where the complaint is not filed in the stand-still period, the complainant shall further indicate whether the complaint should act as stay of execution.
