Light Rail Transit system Secretariat

An assessor will be identified with a view to assess several aspects of person and rail safety of the planned Light Rail Transit (LRT) system at different stages of the project. The tasks of the awarded assessor will be to ensure compliance between applied standards and the present project charter for infrastructure and rolling stock of the LRT system, where constructions, functions and operating/maintenance conditions are subject to safety requirements. Focus will be on the light rail facilities and the interaction between the LRT system’s overall infrastructure and rolling stock.

The number of invited tenderers is five. In so far as the number of tenderers, whose expression of interest is in compliance with the tender requirements, exceeds five, the selection of tenderers will be based on the following grounds: — The quality of references on light rail, metro or similar assessment assigments from the past 10 years. Number of staff in the enterprise spcialized in light rails and operation of light rails applying the standards set out in III.2.1. The expression of interest should be sent on CD-rom to the adress in Annex A. The expression of interest should contain a contact e-mail adress. The template for submitting the declaration on debt, pubnishable offences and independence can be obtained at the adress in Annex A. The tenderer who is awarded the contract should document the solemn declaration on debt and punishable offences. This should be documented by a certificat issued by an appropriate authority in the country where the the tenderer has his business set up.

— References from light rails, metro or similar assessment assignments dating up to 10 years back, which contain experience in assessment of light rail transit systems from commencement of light rail building process to conclusion. The references must include the period of contract, economic size and description of task,
